FORCE MORAL DEBATE AWARD

We are giving this award (written recognition) to Angelina Jolie for her humanitarian efforts on behalf of the worlds refugees for her efforts to bring food, medicine and education to all parts of the world where innocent people are suffering from civil war, displacement and political genocide.  She spoke tonight on the ABC Nightline program about the land mine problem in Cambodia and the greater S.E. Asia area and of the political genocide by starvation of people in various parts of Africa, particularly Darfur.  As Goodwill Ambassador for the U.N. and their High Commissioner for Refugees since August 2001, she has donated $3 million of her own funds and said she plans to give 1/3 of her future annual income to the plight of the refugees.  For these actions and her focus on service to humanity we extend this award.

Comments:
Regarding land mines anywhere in the world, the countries responsible for laying them should be held accountable for removing every last one of them and returning the land to the rightful owners in its pre-war condition.  Regarding political genocide, the full weight of "The Doctrine of Just War" should be applied to the perpetrators, and the punishment swiftly executed.
